So what did we see and what did we do: every day we took turns driving for two to four hours…..all the roads are one lane in each direction, we don’t waste the amazing nature on roads, hundreds of big caravans on the roads, huge trucks and everyone follows them calmly, nobody There is no rush… there are no huge advertising signs, there are no malls and shops on the way, from time to time we pass a town that looks like something from the wild west and there we found a second hand store and there is everything, and the elders of the village work on a voluntary basis, an exhibition in an old train car and someone from the village also works there voluntarily

The shops, cafes, restaurants, government offices…everything closes at half past three, we go home, do sports, travel

In New Zealand, there is no takeaway, no wallet, almost no shopping malls, no dollar stores and 2 dollar shirts…everything is so modest that one would envy

Nature is crazy, hundreds of acres with sheep, cows, dying on endless grass surfaces, the houses are simple, small, not eye-popping…woo…so not us, hey…when did we lose it. The cleanliness here is sick, they don’t know what cleanliness is because it’s not dirty, millions of tourists and the nature is clean, the bins are clean, everyone collects their own garbage… the attractions, the tracks (every day we were on a different track) are taken care of, organized, the paths, the roads, The bridges and everything are all free of charge, everything is free, the state wants them to go out into nature, to love nature and appreciate what God has given them

We found mouse traps in the woods, after a few days we saw a man in his 70s, walking through the traps, and he explained to me that they have a problem with mice and rats in the woods and they want to destroy them, it will take them 25 years, he voluntarily walks through the woods twice a month and takes care of the traps…yes. They worry about what will happen in 25 years, he worries about his children and grandchildren…he won’t be around when they overcome the problem, but it’s important to him.

 יצאנו מישראל במועקה גדולה , אחרי 4 חודשים של מלחמה, החטופים והחטופות לא חזרו, המלחמה לא נגמרה ואנחנו על המטוס להמשך ה  המסע מסביב לעולם

אז הגענו לניו זילנד , קפטן קוק הגיע לפנינו בשנת 1769 ובכך הוא השלים את המפה … ואנחנו מנסים להפליג אחריו

חודש בניוזילנד בקראוון ,לא ממש… אלה ואן, מסחרית לא גדולה , כיור , מקרר,  כלי מטבח ,- והכל בקטן וצפוף

 אמרתי לאילן …לפני 20 שנים הייתי נגנבת על הסיטואציה, עכשיו שאני קרוב ל70,לדלג מעל אילן ,לצאת בלילה בגשם לעשות פיפי לא .כל כך מגניב ,אבל יש לי בן זוג מגניב ולא הכל הולך לפי המגנביישן שלי (כמו שהבת שלי לימדה אותי : אנחנו מחליטה) לקח לי חודש להתרגל

 ניו זילנד מתאימה את עצמה לתיירות קראוונים, אין סוף עצירות לילה לקראוונים, יותר פשוטים ויותר מפנקים…אם מקלחות ושרותים ובלי, באוהלים, על גג הרכב כמו ביאכטות כל אחד יכול להיות פה עם התקציב שלו- וליהנות…ואנחנו 2 הזקנים מוצאים נחל לעגינת לילה ומסביבנו ילדים בני 20 וקיצת , אבל לא נשברתי אחרי שהכרנו זוג ניוזילנדי בני 80 בקמפ שלנו,אוהבי ישראל, וכשראיתי אותה יוצאת )מהאוהל שלה,  מאושרת…שתקתי (האם בישראל אפשר למצוא זוג בני 80 יוצאים לחופש באוהל קטן, עם האוכל מהבית ובאושר???? התשובה היא: לא ולא

אז מה ראינו ומה עשינו: כל יום נהגנו בתורנות שעתיים עד ארבע שעות…..כל הכבישים הם מסלול אחד לכל כיוון, לא מבזבזים את הטבע המדהים על כבישים, מאות קראוונים גדולים על הכבישים,משאיות ענק וכולם נוסעים אחריהם ברגוע ,אף אחד לא ממהר…אין שלטי ענק לפרסום, אין קניונים וחנויות בדרך, מידי פעם עוברים בעיר שניראת כמו מהמערבון הפרועה ושם מצאנו חנות יד שניה ובא יש הכל, וזקני הכפר עובדות בא בהתנדבות, תערוכה  בקרון רכבת ישן וגם שם עובדת בהתנדבות מישהי מהכפר

החנויות , בתי הקפה, המסעדות, משרדי ממשלה …הכל נסגר בשלוש וחצי, נוסעים הביתה, עושים ספורט, מטיילים

.אין בניוזילנד טייק אווי, אין וולט, אין כמעט קניו נים, אין חנויות בדולר וחולצות ב2 דולר…הכל כל כך צנוע שבא לקנא

 הטבע מטורף, מאות אייקרים עם כבשים, פרות, למות על משטחים של דשא אין סופיים, הבתים פשוטים, קטנים, לא מנקרי עיניים…ווהו…כל כך לא אנחנו, הי…מתי אנחנו איבדנו את זה. הנקיון פה חולני, הם לא יודעים מה זה נקיון כי לא מלוכלך, מליוני תיירים והטבע נקי, הפחים נקיים, כל אחד אוסף את הזבל של עצמו…האטרקציות , הטראקים (כל יום היינו בטראק אחר ) מטופלים, מאורגנים,  השבילים, הדרכים,   הגשרים והכל הכל ללא עלות, הכל בחינם, המדינה רוצה שיצאו לטבע, שיהבו את הטבע ויעריכו את מה שאלוהים נתן להם

מצאנו ביערות מלכודות עכברים , לאחר מספר ימים ראינו גבר בשנות ה70 לחייו, עובר בן המלכודות, והסביר לי שיש להם בעיה של עכברים ועכברושים ביערות והם רוצים להשמיד אותם, זה יקח להם 25 שנה ,הוא עובר ביער בהתנדבות פעמיים בחודש ומטפל במלכודות ..כן.. הם דואגים למה יהיה בעוד 25 שנה, הוא דואג לילדים ולנכדים…הוא כבר לא יהיה כאשר יתגברו על הבעיה אבל זה חשוב לו.

פגשו נוצרים אוהבי ישראל, מתפללים כל יום לאלוהים שלהם שיעזור לנו, יודעים הכל וחיים אותנו…אי שם בניוזילנד אלפי ק”מ מישרא לזוג מבוגר שדואג לנו הישראלים-הזוי ,מידי פעם ראינו דגל ישראל על הבתים, אבל גם דגל פלסטין
