10/2022Preparations for a long voyage

That’s it… half a year has passed in the Holy Land and I’m getting organized, or don’t really know how to organize for a pension track in my life. It was always clear to me that I would not live a normal life in the boxes you live in in Tel Aviv.

After I met Ilan, who had a dream to sail around the world in early retirement, the connection was immediate and now I have to organize my life…which is not easy.

How do you organize a ten-year cruise when you have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and an amazing grandmother.
How do you organize financially, for expenses along the way… and we are not a young type, and we have style, and want to travel, discover, experience, visit wherever we end up.

So regarding the family, I decided that I will return to Israel 4 times a year, even though we are moving further and further away from the Holy Land, and the long flights are long and tiring. (I learned this from my mother, about traveling abroad and enjoying life, you pay a little and it’s not bad, it all depends, but we take life)

Regarding the financial part…during the last six months I have been actively looking for an apartment, a house, a feeling, something that would give me a warm place to return to. I found warehouses that are stores, stores that are rooms, 40 meters in property tax was 24 meters in administration and 12 meters in papers… and believe me, I met and searched and did work. The two times I was in the process of closing a deal, during the contract, the price went up by 200,000 NIS just like that, because they can.

For the time being, I live in a small house in the Arabah in Moshav Mishmar HaSheva at a cost of NIS 5,000 per month, which is actually the budget for the cruise….. Then a week before the cruise I had a great idea, (no one around me thought like me) in two days I bought a trailer, all the things were loaded on The trailer, I don’t need anything that can’t find a place for it. When I’m inside I don’t always know where I am, in a yacht or a caravan. I no longer have fixed expenses in Israel: no property tax, no electricity, no water, no security and no etc., and I don’t even have mooring expenses.

So my real home is in Zigi, Zigi is a Greek village in Cyprus, I bought the house in Korona, 100 meters from the sea, an enclosed pool, a stunning garden…and the property tax is 100 euros per year, and the head of the council apologizes that it is expensive. That’s where I want to live after…. after many years, after we return and become old.

All the plans are knowing that we are healthy and as of now that is the most important thing to me and everyone around me, and I know very well that we are making plans and God above is laughing…he has the plans for us.

זהו… חצי שנה עברה בארץ הקודש ואני מתארגנת ,או לא כל כך יודעת אך להתארגן למסלול פנסיה בחיי. תמיד היה ברור לי שלא אשאר לחיים רגילים בקופסאות שאתם חיים בהם בתל אביב

אחרי שהכרתי את אילן שכל חייו חלם להפליג מסביב לעולם בפנסיה מוקדמת , ההתחברות היתה מיידית ועכשיו אני צריכה לארגן את חיי…וזה לא פשוט

• איך מתארגנים להפלגה בת עשר שנים כשיש לך 3 ילדים,2 נכדים וסבתא מדהימה
• איך מתארגנים מבחינה כלכלית ,להוצאות במהלך הדרך…ואנחנו לא סוג צעיר, ויש לנו סטייל , ורוצים לטייל ,לגלות, לחוות , לבקר בכל מקום שאליו נגיע

אז לגבי המשפחה החלטתי שאני אחזור 4 פעמים בשנה לארץ למרות שאנחנו מתרחקים ומתרחקים מארץ הקודש , והטיסות ארוכות ארוכות

ומעייפות. ( את זה למדתי מאמא שלי, על נסיעות לחו”ל וכייף של החיים משלמים קצת וזה לא נורא , הכל תלוי אך אנחנו לוקחים את החיים)

לגבי הקטע הכלכלי …במהלך החצי שנה אחרונה חיפשתי במלוא המרץ דירה, בית, חושה, משהו שיהיה לי מקום חם לחזור אליו. מצאתי מחסנים שהם חנויות ,חנויות שהם חדרים , 40 מטר בארנונה היה ל24 מטר במינהל והיה ל12 מטר בניירות… ותאמינו לי ,נפגשתי וחיפש..

עשיתי עבודה. בפעמיים שהייתי בשלבי סגירת עיסקה, תוך כדי החוזה המחיר עלה ב200000 ש”ח ככה סתם, כי הם יכולים

אני גרה בנתיים בבית קטן בערבה במושב משמר השבעה בעלות של 5000 שח לחודש, שזה בעצם התקציב להפלגה….. ואז    שבוע לפני ההפלגה הבריק לי רעיון אדיר, (אף אחד מסביבי לא חשב כמוני) ביומיים קניתי לי קראוון, כל הדברים הועמסו על הקראוון, מה שלא נמצא לו מקום אני לא צריכה.   כשאני נמצאת בפנים לא תמיד אני יודעת איפה אני, ביאכטה או בקראוון. אין לי יותר הוצאות קבועות בארץ: אין ארנונה, אין חשמל, אין מים, אין שמירה ואין  ואי…., ואפילו אין לי הוצאות עגינה

אז הבית האמיתי שלי הוא בזיגי , זיגי כפר יווני בקפריסין, קניתי את הבית בקורונה,100 מטר מהים, בריכה סגורה ,גינה מהממת …ושם הארנונה 100 יורו לשנה , וראש המועצה מתנצל שזה יקר. שם אני רוצה לחיות אחרי…. אחרי הרבה שנים, אחרי שנחזור ונהיה זקנים.

כל התוכניות הם בידיעה שאנחנו בריאים ונכון לעכשיו זה הכי חשוב לי ולכולם סביבי, ואני יודעת טוב מאוד שאנחנו מתכננים תוכניות ואלוהים למעלה צוחק…לו יש את התוכניות בשבילנו
